Can I Remove the Blue Locking Keeper on the Pollak 7-Way
Question:
Can the blue locking keeper be removed, as I have the red and brown wires backwards? If So how, so I dont damage the plug. thank you

I have a solution but no there is no way to remove the blue locking ring in the Pollak 7-Way item # PK11932. I recommend cutting the red and brown wires behind the connector and splicing the correct ones together using 16-14 Gauge Butt Connectors item # 05731-5 then taping them up. There is no way to remove the blue locking keeper without damaging the entire connector. That keeper attaches to each pin individually.
