Can You Use The B&W Gooseneck Ball For OEM Hitch Prep/Puck Systems With a Convert-A-Ball Adapter?

I have a 2017 Nissan Titan XD with factory gooseneck prep. I saw that this part is not recommended with the factory ball due to ball having top lever release. If I were to change the ball out with the bandw ball, part #BWGNXA2061, would this hitch work. Thanks

Yes, you can safely use the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter w/ Offset # CAB-C5GX1216 on your 2017 Nissan Titan XD with a B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit # BWGNXA2061 as it uses the handle to lock the ball in place. This will not become damaged like the Reese or Curt ball will with its integrated lock built into the head of the gooseneck ball.
