Question:

On my 2021 Ford F-150 when empty I have 8” from bottom of frame to top of axle. With rv trailer hooked up I have 6” between bottom of frame and axle. The blue summo spring is a total of 6 1/4” tall so will the summo really help my truck

Yes, the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle item # SSR-211-54 would help your 2021 Ford F-150 while hauling your trailer. However, those springs do not fit your 2021 Ford F-150 they fit GMC's from 2007-2010 and we do not have a model of Sumosprings that fit your truck.

I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers item # AL67PD. These have a 5,000-lb weight capacity. The air bags reduce the strain on your rear suspension, increase safety, and compensate for uneven loads. They level your truck from front to back and adjust independently for side-to-side leveling of off-center loads. They also improve steering and braking performance. The LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air springs have internal bumpers, so you get the adjustable load support of air springs and the comfort and reliability of jounce springs. Jounces also work as a fail-safe if air springs lose pressure. The Air Lift LoadLifter helper springs are also the only airbag system that is compatible with a 5th wheel hitch.

I also recommend the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Remote - Bluetooth - EZ Mount item # AL74000EZ. Air Lift's premium, wireless, onboard compressor system with Bluetooth allows you to fill your air springs at the touch of a button. The WirelessAIR also automatically maintains pre-set air pressure levels. It lets you adjust 2 air springs independently with the wireless remote control. This allows you to level your vehicle front to back. It also allows you to get side-to-side leveling of off-center loads by inflating each spring with a different amount of air.

I make this recommendation off of the information available to me. If you don't want an airbag system please email me with your trailer specifications and whether or not your F-150 is 2WD or 4WD and I would be happy to come up with another solution for the sagging you are experiencing when you are hauling your trailer.
