Recommendations For Raising A 2020 Dutchman 2503REF So It Will Sit More Level When Towing

Question:

Hi I have a 2020 Dutchman 2503REF. Hooked up to 2018 Ram 2500 4x4. They are both stock. My companion hitch is adjusted to approx 6 inches to the top of bed. I drove my trailer up on 2 inch blocks and I still had rear , but was better than the current in level tow stance. Will the correct track work on my trailer? Can I use a road armor equalizer? I currently have 15 inch tires and wheels. Can I upgrade to 16 inch to increase height? I have about 5 inches above top of tire, increase in tire diameter should be okay?

You want to have at least 3 inches from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender/wheel well, so upgrading to a 16" tire shouldn't be an issue in your case. Especially if you go with the Correct Track # RR23QX as well. This will add 1-1/4" to 2-1/4" of lift once installed and will definitely get you at a better level, but you will need one more single kit # LC87120 to cover all 6 hangers (two front, two middle, and two rear).

The Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740 will definitely smooth out the ride as well, but you will need to measure your current equalizer to make sure this matches, or is very close to matching. I included a diagram with measurements for this as well. One add-on I tend to suggest with these is the Lippert AP Kit # LC52SV. This will include much more sturdy and heavy duty shackle straps that what comes included from the manufacturer.
