Question:
Im buying a used motorhome that has a 6000lb Sterling model 555 tow bar that was used for a jeep grand cherokee. What would I need to connect a 2015 Ford Flex?

To use the Sterling 555 tow bars that you are getting with your 2015 Ford Flex you will need a Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # RM-524435-4 and a Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly # 910021-00 unless you are getting the crossbar from the Jeep he used it with.
For the electrical I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 as it will contain the wiring and diodes needed to control the tail lights on your Flex while it is in tow. A Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 will also connect to the wiring kit to maintain the battery charge on your Flex while in tow. Without this your battery will be drained and risk damage to the battery.
The Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524 is a portable braking system that is easily removed and installed in your Flex when you are towing. When not in tow it folds up into a small package that is easily stored. You can monitor and adjust the Brake Buddy from your motorhome with the included wireless remote. The Brake Buddy also includes a battery charge line so with this you will not need the Roadmaster unit that I discussed above. A Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400 is needed to keep your Flex's brake signal from overriding the turn signal sent by your RV.
