Dual Hitch Adapter For Carrying a Bike Rack In Between Motorhome and Flat Towed Jeep Wrangler
Question:
I currently tow a Jeep Wrangler with a Roadmaster system with an RM-048-8 hitch. Will this work using a dual RM-077 dual hitch to allow both towing and the bike rack? Thanks!

Yes, you can replace the Roadmaster High-Low Adapter # RM-048-8 that you currently have with a Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-8 to be able to carry the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack # HLY84FR above your tow bars. Both the adapters have the same 8" drop that you are using for the tow bars. For ease of use you should load your bike rack first so that you are not getting tripped up by the tow bars and definitely do not use the tow bars as a platform to stand on for loading the bikes.
I do recommend using the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch # RM-061 both on the adapter going into your motorhome as well as the tow bars attaching to the adapter to reduce the play inside the receiver and help eliminate damage to the components caused by this play.
