Replacing Shurflow 4008-101-A65 with ydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump
Question:
Hello, Im replacing a SHURFLOW 4008-101-A65 and I have a question about the two threaded barb tips that go on the inlent/outlet of the Hydromax pump. Will I be able to unscrew the the threaded piece with a barb from the SHURFLOW and screw it right into the Hydromax? If so, I wont need to remove any of the PEX and clamps I would just replace the pump and be on my way. Thanks so much for the help.

The fittings that come with the HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump part # P25201 are specific to that pump so these are the ones you will need to use. This means you'll likely need to clamp on the PEX hose onto the new fittings. It's possible you may be able to reuse your existing fittings from you old pump but we would not be able to confirm that so you will need to plan on replacing them.
