How to Install a Trailer Break Away System
Question:
my brakes have red and black wires going to the axles then up to a brake away system do you have a schematic for this my break away is broken i wont to bypass it

I do not recommend that you bypass the break away system because in many states it is a requirement to have a working break away system. Trailer brake magnets will have one power wire and one ground. The power output from a break away system will go to the magnet power wire. The input from the trailer connector goes to the breakaway switch. We do have a handy FAQ article and video that I have linked for you that will help.
I have also linked an FAQ article on testing break away systems for you to help troubleshoot what might be wrong with yours.
