Manual Stabilizing Jacks For Class C Motorhome

Question:

What kind of manual leveling jacks would you recommend for a 2020 Winnebago Vita. Really dont want to invest in an automatic leveling system. Would ground clearance be an issue? I do a fair share of boondocking.

Expert Reply:

These manual scissors jacks are for stabilization and not for leveling, so if you want to level out your Class C Winnebago Vita motorhome then you will need leveling blocks, the Ultra-Fab Leveling Blocks for Trailers and RVs # UF48-979051.

Then for stabilizing jacks, ground clearance should not be an issue, no, and what you will need depends on the distance from your frame to the ground. The Stromberg Carlson Scissor Jacks have a 5,000 lb capacity per jack and each has a retracted height of just four inches. So you can decide on the one that will work for you based on their extended height:

- 24 Inches: Leveling Scissor Jack Set # JSC-24

- 30 Inches: Leveling Scissor Jack Set # JSC-30
