Trailer Hitch Recommendation For 2021 Toyota Rav4
Question:
I have a question about a hitch for my 2021 Toyota Rav4 LE AWD. Should I put the 1 1/4inch Hitch or 2inch Hitch on my SUV for towing a utility trailer 350 Lbs for trash to the dump and 3 Dirt Bike several times a year. Trailer weighs 350 lbs 3 Dirt Bikes weigh about 576 lbs

Expert Reply:
For your 2021 Toyota Rav4 I recommend you use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13416 class III hitch rather than the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 36675. The bigger hitch will allow you to carry all your cargo and not have to worry as much about capacity.
You will still need to keep in mind about the capacity of the 2" receiver and the capacity of your vehicle.
