In order to determine if the Carpod, # M2205-01-02, will fit your 2013 Nissan Pathfinder, the first thing you have to do is take an important measurement. Measure from the center of the hitch pin hole straight back to the distance required to clear the rear bumper. If that distance is less than 2-1/2 inches then the carrier will fit.

If the distance is more than 2-1/2 inches then you will want to look at other enclosed carriers like Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System w/ 2 Enclosed Cargo Carriers - 2" Hitches # Y74ZR. It measures 4-1/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest part of the carrier. Still not enough? Next you would go to the GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Slide Out - 17 cu ft - Black # H0060, which allows 14 inches and will clear the rear bumper with no problem on the 2013 Pathfinder. You will also get the benefit of a fully enclosed carrier with lights. You can also remove the enclosed portion and just use the flat tray part if needed. I have included a link to a video review of this carrier for you. With the # H00604, I recommend the hitch lock # ACC3250 to secure the carrier to the vehicle.
