The Hollywood Racks Express 3-Bike Carrier, part # HRE3, is a good fit for your 2001 Buick Park Avenue as long as it does not have a rear spoiler. Also, since your vehicle has a soft rear bumper you will want to keep in mind that the carrier and bikes together may weigh more than the bumper capacity. The Express uses holes in the underside of the vehicle frame for attaching the mounting hooks.

If your Park Avenue does have a rear spoiler you can use one of the Thule 3-bike carriers shown on the provided link.

The key measurement to keep in mind as you consider the fit with your particular bikes is the spacing of the two carrier arms, which in the case of the Express is 16 inches (please see included photo). You can compare this spacing to the frames of the bikes to predict the fit.

Some bikes for kids and women lack a horizontal top frame tube (the usual part to mount on the carrier arms) and in these cases an adapter bar may help. Adapters such as the # HRBA-PRO from Hollywood attach between the handlebar and seat posts to provide this horizontal surface to mate with the carrier arms. These adapters help keep the bike level on the carrier and avoid the safety issue of a wheel hanging too close to ground level.

If you wish you can use a cargo strap to help secure the bikes to the carrier in case the fit is not ideal.
We offer a range of such products that can be seen using the provided link.

We also offer cable locks such as the Tow Ready # TR63255 if you wish to lock the bikes to the carrier.
