Today we're going to be taking a look at the Tow Ready Cable Lock. This is a 4-foot in length. Cable diameter is 5/16ths of an inch. The part number on it is TR63255. As you can see the cable when not in use coils up nicely for convenient storage. Has a double looped end. This is going to allow us to go around a larger item and secure it with our lock here at the end and it will actually pass through itself.
Sometimes these will, sometimes they won't. This will actually pass through so we can get it around our last item, run it through our other ladders let's say and then connect it to the wall so we won't have to worry about it disappearing. This is also great for bikes, tools, whatever that you need to secure this is going to work well. It has a vinyl coating that covers our cable. This is going to prevent corrosion and also scratching or any kind of abrasion on the things that we're securing to and securing. It's a braided steel cable.
As I said it's 5/16ths of an inch. This is going to prevent . Not prevent but at least help keeping it being cut or sawed 01:06 or . Those many different cables in there really help to hold strong. Now just an example of a way that we could use this. Be our bike here.
We want to get it secured so it doesn't come up missing. Simply wrap our cable around and then we can secure it with our lock. This is an inch and a half laminated steel body lock. It's going to come with two keys. Simple to use.
Bring it around, lock it up. That's all there is to it. No matter what you need to secure, one of the things that around here we see a lot of securing stuff in your open trailers. This could very easily go through a toolbox, a generator, a small boat. Tie it off to the trailer, you won't have to worry about it. Product is as advertised. Was first delivered without lock, but etrailer has straight away sent the missing lock and has been very kind and professional resolving the issue.
