Will the Yakima DeepSpace Roof Cargo Box Fit 1-1/4 inch x 1-1/4 inch Crossbars
Question:
I have square crossbars that are 1.25inch x 1.25. Will the Yakima 8001171 DeepSpace 10 Cargo Box work with my crossbars?

Expert Reply:
The Yakima DeepSpace # Y65RR can fit the 3" wide x 1-1/2" tall Yakima HD crossbars so it won't have a problem fitting the 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" crossbars on your Malone trailer. If you are having trouble getting the hardware to wrap around the crossbars then you can remove the plastic piece as you can see in the attached photo.
Please note that the DeepSpace will fit a crossbar spread of 32" - 46". I'm not sure how far apart the crossbars are on your trailer but you'll want to measure and adjust (if possible) to make sure this will fit.
