Will Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning # RR32132 Work Without Anchors in Feet  

Question:

Hello. I see every picture of this awning deployed with tie down ropes anchored. Is it required to use the anchors? As in will it just collapse without them? Can it just roll out and sit on the poles without assuming favorable conditions of course? Thanks

The Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning # RR32132 will support itself without having anchors through the feet of it. If there was no wind obviously you'd be perfectly fine. But as I found out the other week...sometimes the wind comes out of nowhere and your buddy's awning ends up on the roof of your vehicle.
