I'm very pleased with the performance the Extang Solid Fold Tonneau cover during the past year. It keeps the bed clear of blown-in debris, provides easy access and is removable when full access is needed. I like the solid top since there is a regular need to put something heavy there while sorting items out in the bed. It isn't completely leak free, but I never expected that from the beginning. The only drawback I've found is the need to be careful when folding the panels back. It's a solid cover which means pinched fingers if your'e not paying attention.
I've had this cover for over a year now and it still looks brand new, with very little maintenance other than wiping down the seals when I wash it and occasionally treating them so they stay soft. I've had a Bakflip Revolver in the past and required way more maintenance to keep it looking good.
Initially, the Solid Fold 2.0 developed some bubbles in the cover, but etrailer and Extang resolved it quickly and sent out a replacement cover. Installation was a bit more challenging only because I have a Nissan Titan XD with the Titan Boxes, but with a little trimming of the screws on the forward brackets, and the Titan Box covers cleared them.
I do experience some minor water penetration following heavy thunderstorms down here in South Texas, but nothing that causes too much of an issue.

While I think the cover is good and durable, it doesn’t fully cover the holes along the top rail where a rack or such could be installed. As I don’t have a rack the holes are not fully cover and rain does get into the bed of the truck. Maybe some one could design a flat plastic plug cover for them to alleviate this issue.

It’s light enough to easily open from one side.
It allows me to more securely protect possessions in the bed.
It adds a little weight to the bed to give me better traction in the snow.

This is my 2nd cover, I have the same cover on my Silverado. Very sturdy and great workmanship .
This is an excellent hard cover. I purchased it thinking that I would use it when I took my truck on a family trip (to turn the bed into a "trunk." I had wanted something removable because I did not think that I would leave it installed. The cover has stayed installed since it's purchase. Even though it is easy to operate, it does not make any noise or "jump." I have had it outside in several very strong thunderstorms and have not found it to leak at all. Also, I have been able to stand on it (when it is folded over on itself in the storage location) - not that you're supposed to do that but it proved to me that it is quite strong.
I absolutely recommend this cover. It's easy to use, durable and doesn't leak. Also, it really does look good.
The install on my Honda Ridgeline went ok. The instructions and materials worked well.
The cover is sturdy and works fairly well. It's not completely water-tight, but it's tight enough for my needs. The first cover that I received did not lay flat on the bed walls. One of the joints in the cover sections left a gap. When I reported this to Extang, the promptly sent another cover and asked me to destroy to original. The replacement cover lays flatter on the bed walls, but still not perfect, but I'm satisfied and didn't want to destroy another cover. Opening (folding) the two rear sections is very easily done, leaving a single panel in place at the front of the bed. This works ok for most loads. But when I need to open the entire bed, the cover must be completely removed. This means loosening the two front clamps by laying in the bed to reach and loosen the screws that secure the entire top. Once loosened, the cover can be lifted off the truck bed. A bit of a chore, but I suspect similar to other hard covers.
So far this product has been working our great for me. I put it on a Ford 2015 F-350 DRW 4x4. It fit right on and snug and doesn't move around when traveling and you can drive while it is folded up (1/3) of the bed covered. It does not transfer heat down into the bed so that area won't be any hotter than the surrounding air, came in handy camping. it is easy to take on and off which is why I picked this one, I have a slide-in camper but I live in snow country so I needed something in the winter to keep my truck bed usable. This is my first cover like this, I've always used toppers but this is far easier to use and is working out just fine, even in the snow.
This product is a great product and has kept my truck bed and cargo dry. The cover is top notch, very easy to put on and easy to remove when l need to use the whole bed. I would recommend this cover to anyone who needs a good quality cover for their truck. It also helped the looks of my truck and the whole bed is lockable. Not only am I completely satisfied with the product, your customer service is the best. There was a minor defect to one of the sections of the cover when I received it. I called the website where I purchased it and got a complete runaround. After a couple of days, I decided to call the manufacturer direct. The customer service agent immediately sent me out a replacement panel at no cost to me. I wish I remember her name, she was extremely knowledgable and professional. The next time I or anyone I know needs a cover, you can be assured it will be one of your products. The product is 1 year old and still looks new
This is one horrible piece of equipment, and evidently the manufacturer cannot figure out the problem with the hinges and seals. Water POURS thru the cover. I have owed the older model SolidFold and it has been good. I assumed the 2.0 would be as good or better. Many attempts at remedying the situation failed. Thanks to eTrailer for great support and we eventually got the unit(s) returned to Extang. DO NOT BUY this unit unless and until they can guarantee that the issue has been fixed.
That cover is the best one available for what I needed.It does not leek,it offes good security,it supports me standing on it to wash the cab back window and roof and it doesn't go airborne if I neglect to fasten the two rear latches.Recomended it to friends with other disappointing covers.
It's ok. The first one failed for several reasons and I was asked to work directly with the manufacture rather than being able to leverage the great customer service that etrailer advertises. The 2nd one is better but still leaks at the seams but it just wasn't worth my time to try a 3rd. I do like the concept though, just wish it was a little better built. I now use plastic tubs in the back to keep things dry and then leave it open for a while after any rain or snow.
This one is not to my liking. Fits well, easy to install, keeps the water out. I am going to buy a roll up one.
The shipping was from the factory, but an etrailer rep kept me posted on the shipping date and tracking. The cover itself was EXTREMELY easy to assemble and attach to the bed of my truck. I am greatly pleased with the purchase.

The whole experience was great, from placing the order to receiving the product. I was able to use the price pledge option and was taken care of. Received the product a lot faster then expected. Lastly, I was kept informed (via email) on every step of the way, so I knew exactly when I would receive the products. I'm happy to say they both fit and look great on my truck. Excellent cover, easy to install. I also added the Pop and Lock for extra security. Honda wanted $1200 to purchase and install! Do it yourself and save.
Leaks at seams. I would suggest a type where it is hard but the entire top is covered with vinyl so that there are no seems to leak.
I am extremely satisfied with my hard tonneau cover. it is exactly what I wanted. It was very easy to install and keeps the items in the back of my truck secure.
Love the tonneau cover with one important caveat - ensure to install correctly for your vehicle! On a 2017 Ridgeline, it was not clear (to me) that I needed to use the included add-on rails for the install...and, then, it blew straight off on the highway! Luckily, no one was hurt and there was minimal damage to the cover.
Now that it is installed with the proper rails, it has been wonderful! Plus, apparently it can take quite a beating since it is fine after blowing off my truck at 70mph and crashing to the pavement.

this product is better then the factory brand that came with our other new truck easier to move and remove and installs easily in minutes with out making holes in frame unlike the other cover we have.
