What is the Distance from the Center of the Pinhole to the Face of My Rear Bumper of the # 306-X7239
Question:
My bike rack has a two inch shaft. I am looking at the EcoHitch 306-x7239 hoping to avoid an adapter. In case it is too far down and under for my rack, I want to find an extender/riser that will work before I commit to the EcoHitch. Do you have the distance out and up to the widest part of the bumper from the pin of the installed hitch? Do you have an extender/riser that will fit? The Malone MPG544 looks like it would work but at 7-1/2 inch rise is a bit much and the anti rattle devise would make it inconvenient to remove regularly. My hitch adapter on my other car is a 3.75inch rise, goes out 4.75 from the pin hole and has a threaded pin with a lock which is a much better anti-rattle/anti-theft device. It would probable work here if I installed the C12091 but that would be committing to an adapter.

The measurement from the center of the pinhole of the EcoHitch # 306-X7239 to the outside of the face of the bumper of your 2018 Ford Fusion is about 5 inches. If you were curious about the same measurement on the Curt Hitch # C12091, that distance is also about 5 inches.
The Malone Dual Extender # MPG544 will provide you with about 7-3/8 inches of shank length after your bumper as well as 7-1/2 inches of rise. Also, you Malone extender will only work with the EcoHitch # 306-X7239 since that is a 2-inch receiver (the Curt is a 1-1/4 inch receiver). If you want something with a bit less protrusion from the bumper and less rise, we unfortunately do not carry any other dual-hitch adapter that has less of a rise as the Malone. As far as the anti-rattle device on the Malone, even though we don't recommend it, it is possible to use the extender without the device installed. However, this would be risking a lot of rough movement on the hitch during transport with your accessories. If you need an anti-rattle device, I recommend the
