Will A Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box 16 Cu Ft Fit My 2013 Honda CR-V
Question:
Will the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box 16 cu ft fit a 2013 Honda CR-V without touching the antenna and rear hatch? Same question for the larger/longer 18 cu ft version of this cargo box. Note that the antenna on this vehicle sticks up quite a bit, as shown in the attached picture. Thank you for your help!

The Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black Glossy, part # TH629706, will fit on your 2013 Honda CR-V. Unfortunately, you will lose some functionality on your vehicle to make it happen. First, you will have to remove your antenna from the roof of your 2013 Honda CR-V in order for any roof top cargo box to fit your vehicle. Next, in order to determine what rooftop cargo box will fit your vehicle and still allow you to open your rear hatch, you will have to take one measurement. The leading edge of the Thule foot for your roof rack is 15-3/4" from the top of your vehicle's windshield. You will have to take the measurement from where the center of your front crossbar will be, approximately 16-3/4", to the the point your roof meets the hatch. According to Thule's chart, this distance needs to be greater than 47-1/2".
