Will I Need to Trim My Fascia When Installing the Westin HDX Grille Guard on My 2020 Ford F-150?
Question:
I am interested in this Westin grille guard but wary after reading the install instructions. It is advertised as a No-Drill install. The one ed is for the ecoboost engine so I am confused if the instructions call out the 2016-2018 models in numerous occasions and cutting out the bumper flats inboard of the fog lights to accommodate the lower support brackets. This does not describe the No-Drill accurately, so I am wary to purchase this for my 2020 F150 with ecoboost 3.5. Can you please notify if my concern is understandable, or re-assure me of the fit? There are a lot of bars to choose from, so I really want to get it right. Cheers

I have an answer for you. For the Westin HDX Grille Guard # 57-3835 for your 2020 Ford F-150 Ecoboost, your concern is understandable. There is a way to tell if you need to trim your vehicle before you purchase. According to the instructions with the grille guard, only vehicles that do not have factory tow hooks need to trim fascia from the truck. I went ahead and included a screenshot of the instructions for your convenience. With that being said, you may still need to trim the screws on the mounting brackets whether you have factory tow hooks or not.
Sadly, we do not carry any grille that will install onto your vehicle without trimming if you do not have factory tow hooks on your 2020 Ford F-150 Ecoboost.
