The Tekonsha T-Connector 7-way Connector # 118286 you were looking at is pretty easy to install in your 2022 Honda Pilot.

You will need to get behind the driver side trim panel in the rear cargo area of your Pilot and there will be a white connector. Fish that connector down and plug it in to the white connector on the # 118286. You will notice that there is a second white connector on this harness which is for vehicles with backup sensors. If your Pilot has backup sensors there will be another white connector in roughly the same area you will need to plug into.

Next you will run the other end of the harness underneath the vehicle to where you will be attaching the 7-way to your vehicle/trailer hitch receiver, and then will need to plug the wires into the 7-way connector. Conner does a great job of showing how to get this install completed in the video I included.

If you do not already have a trailer hitch receiver on your Pilot I recommend going with the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e98840, and long no-drill mounting bracket # C57202 which will attach to the hitch and can be bent/positioned as needed to install the 7-way connector where you desire.
