Parts Required to Flat Tow a 2021 Ram 1500 With a 2010 Tiffin Phaeton 36
Question:
Can you provide the parts needed to flat tow my new 2021 Ram 1500 Limited quad cab 4x4 with a 2010 Tiffin Phaeton 36? I would need the base plate, tow bar/brake kit and debris screen.

We definitely have all the parts needed to tow your 2021 Ram 1500 with your 2010 Tiffin Phaeton 36. All these parts will work together, but I did include two options for the braking system. One will be a permanent install, which I prefer, and a portable/removable option as well. I included install and review videos of all these products as well. So let's get started.
The first thing you will need is the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-522203-5. This will bolt to the frame of your Ram, but the arms are removable so it will look very clean when not in use. The Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-676 will attach directly to this base plate and being rated up to 8,000 pounds, will have no issues pulling everything. The Tow Defender Protective Screening # RM-4750 will easily mount to these 2 parts and keep the front of your Ram protected. One of the big pluses with the # RM-676 is it comes with safety cable as well as the 7 W to 6 Way wiring adapter. There will be a little more needed, but you have a good start with what comes with it.
To get the rest of the wiring needed, you will need the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154. You will end up needing to cut the 4 Flat plugs off as they will not be needed in your case, but with the # RM-676 having a 6 pin plug included, you will need no other parts for this.
For a potable/removable braking system, I recommend going with the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System - Proportional # BLU37TR. This is an easy to use and install system that uses a wireless control module that goes in the cab of the RV, but will need to be installed and removed every time you go camping. If you want to go with this system, you will need to install the 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps # RM-9332 to get the needed power to the unit.
For a permanently installed braking system, which again, I prefer, I highly recommend the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700. This will require the Universal Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751000, but everything is a one time set up and will not need things to be connected or disconnected when towing or driving your Ram.
