Determining If 2016 Ford F-250 W/ 6 Lift Can Tow 2021 Keystone Alpine With Reese Goose Box
Question:
I have a 2016 F250 Lariat Crew Cab Long Bed. It has a 6” lift sitting on 20’s wrapped in 35’s. I’m wanting to know if this would give me the adjustment required to mate to a 2021 Keystone Alpine with excepted clearance? With that said which Goose Box would I need along with the ball and safety chain s?

It is possible that the Reese Goose Box will give you the adequate bed rail to trailer clearance of 5"-6" when towing your 2021 Keystone Alpine with your lifted 2016 Ford F-250 but the only way to know will be measuring the trailer height and bed rail height.
With your trailer level you will need to measure from the ground to the bottom of the overhang, and then with the truck on level ground measure from the ground to the top of your bed rails.
The Reese Goose Box hangs down roughly 22" from the mounting plate on your trailer and has some up and down or front and back adjustment to help get the proper clearance.
I will say that with your truck lifted 6" and having tall tires your trailer will more than likely need to be lifted at the minimum to allow you to tow the trailer level with enough clearance, and even then you may not have enough clearance.
Trailer lifts are pretty common and can be done a few different ways with the most common being an over-under kit like the # K71-385-00 for axles with 3" axle tubes or the # K71-384-00 with 2-3/8" axle tubes. This kits move the axle from on top of the leaf springs to underneath which lifts the trailer by the diameter of the axle plus the leaf spring stack.
When it comes to finding which pin box fits your trailer you will need to identify which pin box your trailer has. On the pin box itself there should be a four digit number like 1116 or 1621. If there is not just send me a picture of the serial number sticker located on the pin box and I would be happy to identify it for you.
The # RP85FR you were looking at is designed to replace the Lippert 1621, 1621HD, and 0719 pin boxes, or the 1716 pin box with the spacer kit # RP61301. If the pin box on your trailer is one of the above pin boxes this goose box will fit perfectly.
You will need to have a 2-5/16" hitch ball, but the correct one depends on which gooseneck hitch you have installed. If you have the OEM gooseneck hitch you will need the # C60692. If you have a different brand gooseneck hitch just let me know.
Lastly for safety chains you will need the # RP49151.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
