The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75521 you were looking at is confirmed to fit your 2001 Chevrolet Silverado as long as it is a 1500 or 2500 Light Duty with the OEM rear bumper and brackets. This hitch fits vehicles with 42" wide frames measured outside to outside like yours.
If you do not have the factory rear bumper and brackets then you will need to go with the Curt Trailer Hitch # 13332 which has the same 2" receiver and fits frames that measure 42" wide outside to outside like yours.
To complete your towing setup you will also need a vehicle wiring harness if your truck does not have one, and a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip. For the vehicle wiring harness I recommend the # C59236 and for the other components I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 which includes all of the above mentioned components along with a convenient carrying case.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
