Replacement Hub Needed That Uses a Bearing With a .875" Inner Diameter

Question:

Hello. I am looking to replace my wheel hub. The outer bearing is L68149. The inner bearing however is a .875 inches. Do you carry a replacement hub for this. Thank you

The .875 inch measurement you got is an odd one. The hubs that we carry that use an # L68149 inner bearing will typically use the # L44649 outer bearing. However, this will have an inner diameter of 1.063 inches.

With that being said, you may want to double check the inside diameter and check to see if there are any numbers on the bearing. There should also be a number of the race that may help identify the bearing.

If you come up with the same size though, it may end up being something that is no longer paired with the # L68149. In this case, it will be a good idea to replace the axle with something that uses more common bearings. As an example, the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with EZ-Lube Spindles # T3584F-EZ-8974 will use the # L68149 and # L44649 bearings and will be much easier to replace parts on. It will measure 89 inches from hub face to hub face and 74 inches from the center of one spring seat to the center of the other, so you will need to make sure to measure before replacing the axle.
