Can I Upgrade a Maxxair Fan to Include Powered Lift, Remote and Reversible Direction

I HAVE A MAXAIR FAN WHERE THE CIRCUIT BOARD HAS FAILED. WHAT PARTS WOULD I NEED TO CONVERT THIS TO A REMOTE CONTROLLED REVERSIBLE DIRECTION POWERED LIFT SETUP?

Without knowing more information about your current fan it would be hard to say what all is needed to upgrade it to a more advanced fan. That being said most upgrade kits are meant to be used on operational fans and we currently only have upgrade kits for Fan-Tastic Vents available. If your fan is not currently working and will require repairs as well as an upgrade kit then you would be better off replacing it with a new fan that does everything you are looking for.
For that I recommend the MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote - Powered Lift # MA00-04500K. This fan is for roof openings of 14"x14" and comes with a 2 year warranty. It also does everything you were looking for to include the powered lift, reversible direction, rain sensor to automatically close the dome during rain or snow, and remote control with LCD screen.
