Sway Control System for 2018 GMC Yukon with Air Leveling System
Question:
I have a 2018 GMC Yukon Denali with trailer package, which has air leveling on the rear. Do I need a sway kit for pulling a trailer with 4800 pound empty wt and 400 pound hitch wt.

2-point sway controls are built into weight distribution systems. A weight distribution hitch is a system designed to create a level, stable ride when you tow a trailer. It will help keep your towing setup level and make sure the weight of your trailer doesn't cause undue stress on your vehicle. I have linked a couple articles about sway control, weight distribution hitches, and the benefits of using these systems.
I recommend the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution with Sway Control item # BLU47FR. This system comes with a 7-hole shank and is rated for trailers up to 8,000 lbs and a tongue weight of 800 lbs. This system will work great with your 2018 GMC Yukon. The 8,000 lbs capacity of the Blue Ox TrackPro should be perfect for when your trailer is fully loaded.
