In order to install a trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 on a 2008 Toyota Highlander you'll first need to install a 4-way trailer connector, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118449. Then, you can convert this to a 7-way using the Brake Controller Install Kit part # ETBC7.
