Where to Measure to Determine Correct Rise/Drop for Ball Mount

Question:

Since there aren't any zero rise/drop ball mount options (shockingly) you might verify that your setup was measured in the right spots. You'd want to measure from the bottom of the coupler lip down to the ground when the trailer is level and then from the top of your hitch opening down to the ground. The part # D320 has a drop of 2 inches and comes with the tab needed for friction sway control. This probably would be close enough to what you'd need.

In that case you'd need a rise of about 2-1/2 inches so instead you'd want a ball mount like the part # C45311 with the weld on tab part # C45822 so that you get the right rise/drop. Or another option is the adjustable ball mount # GY42FR .
