Series Versus Parallel Battery Wiring On A 2021 Ford Transit T150
Question:
I have a 12v Maxx Air Fan deluxe and I’m waiting on Renogy to deliver my solar kit and batteries. I will have two AGM 100amp batteries not sure if I should run in parallel or series yet, can I connect my Maxx Air fan to one of the house batteries with this socket? Or can I just connect the fan directly to the battery? Can you also advise on which battery to connect it to in both parallel and series options? Thank you!

For general RV applications wiring batteries in parallel provides the simplest wiring and common voltage.
The main advantage of wiring batteries in parallel is that you increase the available runtime of your system while maintaining the voltage. Since the amp-hour capacities are additive, two batteries in series double your runtime, three batteries triple it, and so on.
Another advantage to wiring batteries in parallel is that if one of your batteries dies or has an issue, the remaining batteries in the system can still provide power.
As far as the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07500K , wiring to the battery is going to be the best route. I've attached some pictures to this answer page to show how to wire in series and in parallel.
