Recommended Air Lift Air Bag and Compressor System for a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 4WD Dually

Question:

I am looking at adding an air lift kit to my Sierra 3500 4WD dully. I pull a fifth wheel across country. It is in the 16000- 17,000 lb range when loaded. What would be your recommendations for an air lift kit, preferably no drilling installation. For rear axle only. Thank you

I recommend using the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Springs w/ Internal Bumpers # AL88338, which are compatible with your in-bed 5th wheel hitch, dual rear wheels, and require no drilling for installation. The AirLift system will do a great job of providing added support on the rear axle when you're towing your 5th wheel, that will ultimately help improve steering and braking performance, as well as fight body roll and sway.

If you don't already have an on-board compressor system, they're a great way to make sure that you can always fill up the air bags no matter where you're at instead of having to stop at a gas station to inflate via the manual inflation valves. The on-board compressor system I recommend using is the Air Lift WirelessAIR # AL74000EZ, which is a wireless remote controlled unit that will inflate each air bag individually to compensate for off-center loads.
