Back up Camera Recommendation to See Behind an Airstream Trailer

Question:

I cant see anything behind the trailer...I can see down the side but without zig zagging, I can not tell what is behind me or coming up on me.....the factory mirrors on the 3500 silverado 2005 do extend out to 17 inches....but this doesnt solve the problem......I have a fisheye on the passenger side which gives a wide angle view but doesnt help for the problem.....do you have any suggestions......does anyone make a video camera for this kind of problem.....or preferrable do you have a mirror which would help?

You can only extend mirrors out so far before they become a hazard. In this case the best solution would be a camera system. We have several camera systems available but I recommend the Swift Hitch, # 04928. The camera has a magnetic base or it can me attached with screws. It turns on by pushing the button on the camera so you do not have to have it wired into the trailer or vehicle wiring. It even has night vision.

The battery life on this model is 4 hours before it will need a recharge. For a longer life I recommend # SH02DIGITAL. It has an 8 hour battery life. I have include a video of this system for you.
