Can I Use a 2-Inch Drop on a Ball Mount when it Calls for a 1.5-Inch Drop?

I measure out that I need a 1.5 in but no one makes one. So can I use the 2in that there is plenty of. Your opinion would be appreciated. Thanking you in advance My measurements indicate I need a 1.5 inch drop on my ball for my 2inch receiver and all I can find is a 2 inch drop. Is it ok to use for my trailer hitch. Thank you

Yes, a 2-inch drop on a ball mount is fine if you need a 1.5-inch drop on your 2-inch receiver. A 1/2 inch difference will not impact the effectiveness.
