Recommended Replacement for 20.5x8-10 Load Range F Tires on Pontoon Boat Trailer

Question:

My single-axle pontoon trailer from 1997 had 20.5x8-10 on a 5x5.5 rim. It had Load Range F fires but stock but from what I can tell, they are no longer made in that size. Can these safely replace those?

The 205/50-10 is the modern replacement size for the 20.5x8-10 tire. The # AM3H454 wheel/tire combo you specified has a 1650 lb per tire capacity. My research indicates that the 20.5x8-10 Load Range F tire had a 1765 lb per tire capacity which is greater than that of the # AM3H454.

The 205/50-10 Load Range E # AM3H454 would still work for you if the combined capacity of the 2 or 4 tires is greater than the fully loaded trailer weight. So, if the fully loaded weight of your trailer is less than 3300 lb for a single axle or 6600 lbs for a tandem axle trailer, then the # AM3H454 wheel/tire combo would be a great choice for you.

I've linked to a product description video for the # AM3H454 wheel/tire.
