Since you have a Blue Ox tow bar you'll want to stick with them for the base plate as well to avoid needing any adapters. I recommend the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1126. This base plate is compatible with the standard factory bumper with no winches or guards so if you have a different bumper let me know and I can find the correct fit for you. The removable arms on this base plate provide a clean and unobtrusive look when not in use.

For the braking system I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System # BLU37TR. Since you'll have to disconnect the battery to flat tow your 2007 Jeep Wrangler you'll need to install a 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332 to power the braking system. This system will provide precise, responsive braking and can be easily switched between towed cars. The LED display lets you easily adjust braking power, apply manual override, and monitor the system from your motorhome. This system also has a breakaway switch included which will apply the brakes in your towed vehicle and alert you through the monitor when a breakaway event occurs.

Note: A charge line like # RM-156-25 (sold separately), is a good idea if you have a braking system that is using power from the towed vehicles battery while it is disconnected.

For tow bar wiring I recommend the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit Item # RM-154. This wiring kit will splice into the wiring of your Jeep to signal using the tail lights instead of having to running magnetic lights every time you need to tow your vehicle.

If you want to make disconnecting the battery as simple as flipping a switch you can install the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch for Towed Vehicle w/ Supplemental Braking System Item # RM-766.

If you don't already have safety cables or yours are worn then you can use the RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000lbs Item # RM-643. The coiled design prevents the cables from dragging on the ground and being damaged.
