Can Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent FV803350 Disconnect Rain Sensor
Question:
I want to deactivate the rain sensor feature on my Fan-tastic fan and I believe that it is a Model 3300. Motor gears lock in open position if you can get it open at all. Just want a simple on/off 3-way switch operation with the manual crank. No open/close motor involved. Schematic I have shows two wires to 17 RPM lift motor listed as 3a and 3b. Will disconnecting one or both of these from motor do what I want and return unit to a manual crank unit? Thanks

While we have a way for you to achieve what you're looking to do, there isn't a way to rig the wiring to turn off the rain sensor of your powered lift Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent # FV803350. What you can do instead though is add a cover that will block the fan from sensing moisture so it won't open or close automatically:
