Can The Head Of The Electric Jack w/ Footplate EJ-3520-BBX Be Turned To The Side?

Question:

I have a 2021 grand design - transcend explore 23 ft tongue to tail camper the issue is the truck tailgate hits the jack face. need a 600 lb jack whose head can be rotated 90 deg or whose attachment plate is drilled for 90 deg installation. Need recommendations . Current one making baad noises.

The Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX you were looking at has 3 mounting holes, and either of them can be faced forward allowing you to have the jack head to point forward, or towards either side giving you the additional clearance you are wanting.

This jack has a 3500lb rating which will be perfect for your new 2021 Grand Design Transcend Explore 23' Trailer, and will have a very easy time raising and lowering the trailer. Since it is rated for quite a bit more than your tongue weight it will work perfectly for years to come due to it not being strained as much as a lower rated jack.
