Please recommend a trailer hitch for a 2019 Highlander XLE V6 having a temporary spare, the hitch will be used for a Thule bike rack 2inch post.

I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98844 for your 2019 Toyota Highlander XLE V6. It is rated for 900lbs of tongue weight which will be plenty for your Thule bike rack, like the Thule Apex XT # TH9025XT. It has a 2" receiver and the matte black finish will match the trim panels better than any of the other receivers making it not stand out on your Highlander. It will fit your temporary spare as it will fit up to a full size spare as long as it is not on an aluminum wheel.
The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118449 will allow you to use some Auxiliary Lights # C53201. These are helpful in the event your bikes or other cargo carrier you use blocks the view of your taillights on your Highlander.
