Is There a Hitch Extender To Let Tailgate Down With Weight Distribution System
Question:
I am looking for a 2 inch extension hitch that will tow 10,000lbs. I have a weight and sway distribution hitch. I am looking to carry my golf cart in the back of my truck with the tailgate down. Right now the tailgate hits the electric jack so I am not able to carry my golf cart.

I do have an option for you but a simple hitch extender won't do the trick due to both the stress of the weight distribution system as well as the weight of the trailer. Instead, you'll have to use a longer shank for the weight distribution system. The longest we have available is the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank part # EQ90-02-4600. It comes in a few different rise/drop options. If the above won't work please let me know your requirements.
