Large Rooftop Cargo Box That Will Fit 2016 Acura MDX With Factory Roof Rack
Question:
The crossbars on the mdx that are factory, do not allow for adjusting. They are low profile and locked in position. I have a Thule pulse medium on now that is too small and I need to know with my current set up, what will allow the biggest carrier without going too far in the back and affecting the truck.

There is a rooftop cargo box that fits your 2016 Acura MDX which is larger than the 14 cu ft of space offered by the Thule Pulse Medium # TH614. That said, you mentioned not affecting your MDX, and by that I assume you mean being able to open your rear hatch without interference.
What you will need to do is take a measurement from the rear crossbar to the line where the roof and your Acura's hatch meets to see what that distance is. If it is at least 16 inches, then there is a larger cargo box that won't interfere with your rear hatch opening, from Malone:
