Which Platform Bike Rack is Recommended for 2 Electric Bikes on a 2013 Cadillac SRX?
Question:
I have a Cadillac 2013 SRX, that I want to haul my wifes Aventon Ebikeweighs 48-50lbs and my Giant Escape. hers is a step through. I have looked at the Thulebased on friend recommendation however when the bikes are not on the SUV then it sticks back pretty far. I have also looked at the Thule T2Pro XT but concerned how it holds a bike with fenders.

Though the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202 will be 6 inches longer than the Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV, it is still the rack I suggest going with. This is due to how the bikes attach to the racks.
The T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV will attach to the wheels and does not allow for bikes with fenders. The EasyFold XT # TH903202 on the other hand will allow for bikes with fenders and will still work with step through type bikes. This is also rated up to 65 pounds per bike and will definitely cover your bikes.
