Does Yakima OffGrid Medium Cargo Basket Fit 2019 Toyota Tacoma With Factory Roof Rack
Question:
Would this fit in a 2019 Toyota Tacoma double cab with the factory roof rack? Unfortunately they are not adjustable so they are at a distance from one another at about 46 inches. I like the style of this load warrior because it looks like the crossbars on the rack itself are adjustable. The way my truck is set up the basket would have to tuck under my cargo box about an inch or two so the fact that this rack has adjustable bars on it would be perfect

That's a good question, so I checked directly with Yakima for you, and the medium OffGrid cargo basket does indeed fit your 2019 Toyota Tacoma with the factory roof rack, so long as you get the 18 inch extension for it. So here is exactly what you will need:
- Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket # Y07138
- 18" Extension for Yakima OffGrid 44" Long x 40" Wide Roof Cargo Basket # Y07108
The extension will lengthen the cargo basket enough so it can fit your Tacoma's crossbars. In regards to the crossbar, you are absolutely right that they are adjustable which allows you to use them at different distances for either mounting accessories or even use them as tie-down points if you'd like. You even have the option of adding another bar with the Accessory Bar for 40" Wide Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket # Y07353.
The only other thing I recommend is adding locks to secure the cargo basket to your Tacoma's roof rack, which you can do with the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores # Y07204.
