Does the Thule Fit Kit # THKIT1218 Fit a 2021 or a 2022 Hyundai Kona?

I have a 2022 Kona and it is not confirmed to fit. Did it fit the 2021 Kona?

I have an answer for you. Unfortunately, the Thule Roof-Rack Fit Kit for Traverse Foot Packs - 1218 THKIT1218 will not fit the 2021 and the 2022 models of the Hyundai Kona. I confirmed with Thule that, unfortunately, they do not make any parts for your 2022 Kona if your vehicle has a bare roof. However, with that being said, I recommend the SeaSucker Monkey Bars # 298-SX6000B. The Monkey Bars have one of the easiest installations of any crossbar system we have on etrailer. With the Monkey Bars, you can add extra security to the rack with the SeaSucker Cable Anchor # 298-BA0010 and the etrailer cable lock # e98891.
However, if you have a 2022 Kona with flush factory rails, I confirmed with Thule that you will need the following parts:
- Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - 50" Long - Qty 2 # TH711300 (silver) or # TH711320 (black)
- Evo Flush Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars - Flush Side Rails - Qty 4 # TH710601
- Fit Kit for Thule Podium-Style Roof Rack Feet - 6094 # TH67JV
- (Optional for extra security) Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders - Qty 4 # TH450400
With this system, you will be able to transport accessories and cargo on your 2022 Hyundai Kona with flush rails.
