For your 2021 BMW X5, I recommend the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 18 cu ft - Black Glossy # TH629806. The interior dimensions of the Motion XT 18 provide 10 additional inches of length to your available space over the Motion XT 16 # TH629706. In addition, you will be able to fully open the rear hatch on your vehicle with the Motion XT 18 mounted on your 2021 BMW X5. Since you have Thule crossbars already mounted on your vehicle, you will not have any issues with mounting the Motion XT 18 on your roof.
