Question:
I’m towing an Airstream basecamp 16X with a 2017 BMW X5 diesel …when towing I noticed the rear of the BMW does 3-4 inches. How can I correct this?

The best way to level your 2015 BMW X5 when towing is by using a Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37060ET. This will allow you to set up the hitch for your Airstream Basecamp 16X or other trailer with a tongue weight of 200-600lbs and a maximum trailer weight of 6,000lbs. The weight distribution bars will allow you to level your X5 when connected to your Airstream. When you are not towing you will still maintain your factory ride comfort. The hitch also integrates sway control, this will protect you from the Airstream swaying while on the highway.
A 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 is required to install the 2" ball that is included with the hitch. If you require a 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6100 for your trailer coupler be sure to also get it. I recommend using Sway Bracket Jackets # EQ95-01-5150 to extend the life of the parts as well as reduce hitch noise when maneuvering.
