In order to wire your 2008 Chevrolet Suburban with the Voyager brake controller part # 39510 you need to attach:
1: The Red wire from the tow package to the Black wire in the Brake Controller.
2 The Dark Blue wire from the tow package goes to the Blue wire in the Brake Controller.
3: The Light Blue wire in the tow package goes to the Red wire in the Brake Controller.
4: The White wire in the tow package goes to the White wire in the Brake Controller.
I have attached one of our FAQ excerpts that gives you direction to hardwire directly to your vehicle. This article is titled: Brake Controller Installation on a 2008 GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado, however, the base installation function is the same for your 2008 Chevy Suburban.
I have also attached a video actually showing the installation of the part # 39510 to a 2008 Chevy Silverado which takes you step by step.
If you would like for the controller to be removable, you can install Draw-Tite Wiring Harness part # 7894 which will give you a quick disconnect and you would hardwire the harness wires to the OEM wires under the dash. I also have a video for this installation. The video is showing the installation of the pigtail adapter kit on a 2010 Chevy Silverado, but, it is the same for your 2008 Chevy Suburban.
