Can a Trailer Connector be Routed Under a 2011 Subaru Tribeca
Question:
i found the connector but dont know how to route the wiring through the body and down to the hitch....need help, instruction dont help at all with this.

The wiring harnesses like # C55370 for the 2011 Subaru Tribeca are meant to be stored in the vehicle cargo area and then pulled out the back with the rear hatch closed on it (the weatherstripping on the vehicle will protect it) when you need it.
In order to route it down under the vehicle you will need to find a grommet or some exit point at the lowest point in the cargo area. If there is no grommet or you find one that is not large enough you will have to drill through the bottom of the vehicle, careful not to drill through anything on the other side, and route the 4-Way down through that hole.
Then you will seal up the hole so moisture and exhaust fumes cannot get inside the vehicle. You will also need a mounting bracket to hold the 4-Way. You can use # 18144 with # C57202.
