How To Install Brake Controller On 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Question:
HI, I have a 2015 Jeep Rubicon unlimited with a 7 pin tow package. It runs to the engine and has a white ground and red to the battery and a 20 amp hooked up with a blue brake control to the driver side bay. What brake controller would you recommend and what do I need to install? Thank you

I do have an option for you but there are no factory brake controller provisions on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Therefore, you will need to splice in order to install a hardwired brake controller. This is why I recommend using wireless brake controller because it will not require any splicing, the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 simply plugs in and you're ready to go.
It sounds like you have some aftermarket modifications on the Jeep and I would unfortunately not be able to comment on them. If you are looking to hardwire a brake controller then I have attached a help article below. This may also help you make sense of what is already present.
