Trailer Wiring Needed for 2017 Kia Sedona Towing Venture Commander Series 3100
Question:
Im buying a Venture Commander Series model 3100 trailer that has disc brakes , I have a 2017 Kia Sedona LX with a flat 4 Pin wiring harness installed. What would I need to get the trailer connected to the Van ? Thanks for your help.

Your Venture Commander Series model 3100 has a surge brake setup with disc brakes so you'd need to convert your 4-way to a 5-way which will operate the reverse lockout so that your trailer can be reversed.
For that you'd want the 4-way to 5-way kit part # 20036. This plugs into your 4-way and once you run the 5th wire to your reverse light circuit you'd be ready to tow.
