How to Attach Surco Safari 5.0 Rack - 50 Inch x 50 Inch
Question:
Hello, I have a 2011 Honda Fit with the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Bar - Aero Roof Rackinch installed. What brackets or adapters do I need to install this Surco rack safety on my vehicle? Thank you in advance!

I was able to reach out to my tech contact over at Surco since they've launched some of these new baskets and such and they currently do not have a kit that allows you to attach the Surco # S5050 to oval/aero shaped bars. However he did mention that you could source some U-bolts that would fit your RhinoRack bars and drill some holes in the aluminum parts of the basket to attach the U-bolts to your crossbars and the Surco # S5050.
This is currently the only solution to mount a Surco rack to aero style crossbars.
