Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2012 Toyota Corolla S That Retains Rear Ground Effects Panel
Question:
Does this hitch work with a 2012 Toyota Corolla S without having to cut any of the stock ground effects? All of the pictures I see are for the le or the se models or the s from a late model. The only s model is from an earlier year that has the ground effects in the back that are open in the middle rear, if you know what I mean. See in the pictures that the blue 2008 ground effects dont go to the middle but they do on the 2012.

I recommend going with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11265 as we have received a review that shows it installed on a Corolla S with the same bumper as your 2012 Toyota Corolla S. The review confirmed that it fit perfectly with no hassle of modification.
The installation instructions for the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24913 do mention that some models have an appearance panel that would be removed and not reinstalled. I do believe that this may be that panel on your Corolla S.
The Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11141815 will give you a 4-way flat trailer lighting connector. It can also be used for Auxiliary Lights # C53201 when using a bike rack or cargo carrier that blocks the view of your taillights.
